Duties:Installation of Oracle 11i and R12 E-Business applications including setting up production, test, development, disaster-recovery environments. Setting up database cloning, shared file systems, tuning expertise, DR Planning, set up backup and recovery plans. Database alert monitoring. Check critical database failures and proactive fixes. Tablespace and file system space management. Regular database maintenance activities. Tables and indexes maintenance, alerts and log maintenance. Apply Oracle Security Alert Patches, timely recommended patch upgrades. Work with Business Analyst/Users to apply Oracle E-Business Suite Maintenance Packs, Bug-Fixes, TAR/SR Creations/Escalations and issue resolutions. Maintain patch logs, version controls. Understand business problems and troubleshooting production issues developing and maintaining solution for application availability during planned downtime. Concurrent manager troubleshooting, monitoring and tuning, query tuning and optimization. Unix shell scripting to develop various automation and monitoring scripts like file system full, tablespace alerts etc. Maintaining and monitoring 10g RAC system. Maintaining system by using ad utilities like adctrl, adpatch, autoconfig. User and roles maintenance at the database level. Concurrent program/forms/reports registration. Maintain archive and purge activities of workflow and old concurrent request as per company policies and best practices. Preparing documents for database administration best practices and following them.

Three years of experience in the job offered or three years as an ERP Analyst or Oracle Applications Analyst or related.
Alternate Education and Experience Requirements: In lieu of the associates degree, the employer will accept 2 years of university level education in accounting, finance, computer science, business administration, or related field, plus three years of experience. The company will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
Duties:Responsible for implementing oracle financials /manufacturing / distribution /HRMS modules. Detail duties include preparation of requirements and specification documents, set-up, configuration, coordination of user training and testing and post production support. Responsible for the entire life cycle of the implementation from business analysis to for final deployment and testing.
